Dante Alighieri
**Dante Alighieri**, né entre 1265 et 1267 à Florence et mort en 1321 à Ravenne, est considéré comme le **père de la langue italienne**. Poète, écrivain et homme politique, il est l’auteur de *La Divine Comédie*, une œuvre majeure de la littérature mondiale, qui a marqué la transition entre le Moyen Âge et la Renaissance. Engagé dans les luttes politiques de son époque, Dante fut exilé de Florence, ce qui influença profondément son écriture.
