''Timeliner'' is the classic 1955 science fiction novel that follows a scientist named Dr. Hugh Macklin who is working on a quantum physics breakthrough called "dimensional quadrature". During an experiment, a malicious colleague who is having an affair with Macklin's wife manipulates the equipment, thrusting Macklin 80 years into the future.
