Jean-Claude Houssinot est né à Paris, le vendredi 13 juillet 1934. À la suite de ses études supérieures au lycée Henri IV, il sortait - en 1958 - ingénieur de l'École spéciale des travaux publics de Paris, où il professe toujours. En 1961, il reprend un cabinet de géomètre expert ; malgré ses multiples activités, il trouva le temps d'analyser - en quelques pages - avec verve et humour, parfois avec fantaisie, un espace psychologique, qui permettra aux lecteurs de « cogiter » sur de multiples sujets.
